Seattle...

I had the opportunity to go to Seattle this weekend to visit with Hollie and get my hair done! It was a short trip but totally worth it and so much fun! We spent almost every second together and we had just the best time! When you fly into Seattle, it's the coolest thing ever. I got in about 7:30 Thursday night and as you fly in, the trees cover a lot of the lights and so it looks like it's sparkling everywhere and also that you are going to land on the water since the whole west side of the state is surrounded by water. It was way cool. I left AZ and it was like 75 and as I got there it was in the low 50's. I'm not much for someone who loves cold weather. I'd choose heat over cold any day. As I walked out of the terminal, holy cow, I thought I was going to die it was so cold. And it was only like 50 degrees! So I got my little hot chocolate and waited outside for Hollie to pick me up. :]

The next morning we woke up bright and early and Hollie made me some breakfast and then we headed out to Seattle. She told me she was going to buy me a little summ' summ' for my wedding night which got me all excited. The day was absolutely gorgeous so of course, downtown was packed of tourists and crappy drivers. We went to Pike's Market Place and got the little doughnuts that we love, went and looked at all the cool little kiosks. One of the kiosks was this little jam center and we got to try all these samples. One of them was a golden raspberry and a raspberry habanero! We ended up buying those two and with the habanero, we tried it with cream cheese and wheat thins. It was delish! By the end of the day we were too tired to go all out and shop so we just when to U-Village and went to some of the shops to look for dresses for the sisters and ended up finding perfect one's at Juicy Couture and on sale! Turns out, they still were $110 on sale and had to say no which totally bites.

Later that night, I got to see a bunch of my friends which was fun and we all caught up. It's weird to see all those girls now just cause we've all changed so much and hardly have anything in common which is sad. But two of my friends Jessica Boone, and Lauren Hanson are two of my bridesmaids so they'll be down for the wedding which will be so much fun!

On Saturday it was the day to make me blonde again. This may have been the longest day of my life! Hollie had to weave me in and out between clients which just made the day go by really slow. I still had a good time though :] by the time her day was done at work, my hair looked like a golden retriever and had yet to be done. We went and grabbed a Schnoo (delicious frozen yogurt, better than Yougurberry), and went to dinner at this restaurant called The Crab Pot.

This is one of those Seafood restaurants that you get crab legs and clams, and shrimp, and muscles, and all those fun things brought right out to you. They came out with cutting boards, a mallet, a baby fork, and a cracker and I'm thinking what in the heck is this mallet for? They came out and dumped a bucket full of all these different sea creatures. It was the first time I was afraid of my dinner but it ended being delicious!! Finally we went back to Hollie's house and finished my hair and ended up being just how I wanted it!

The next morning we woke up to snow. That dang weather can't ever make up it's mind! Good thing I got at least one day of sunshine up there!
It was such a fun trip and I'm glad I got a chance to get away for a little bit and spend time with my sister.
PS. I graduated school! Finally I'm done! Now off to State Board........yikes!
